MTB closings and WebCam downtimes
Hi,
I try to view the webcam today and it seems not to work. Now I wonder if there is another election day or some other day that MTB might be closed. Or that just the webcam line is down? Would it not be possible that the Masters of the forum, who monitor us here, could put some info about this in the header of the forum or in the calendar? Werewolf is doing a great job with arrivals and as our Masters are online checking anyway why not kindly ask them if this is possible. That way we are always up to date and know when MTB is closed and if the cam line is down. Don't beat me up here for asking, just asking should be okay! Cheers, Wolf

Hi IJ,
well as you know I am German and we are through to the next round. For Sweden it's gonna be difficult as they only had a draw against tiny Trinidad&Tobago!   Prarguay is stronger than Trinidad! And I see at match time there is hardly anyone there, so the girls are pretty bored looking around! That's life! Cheers, Wolf

Yep, seafox is right, I know the times and have on my pc even the life local and Thai time!
But may be they are closed because tomorrow there is high visitor as read in the Phuket Gazette: PHUKET: HRH Crown Prince Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan will visit Phuket after attending HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Bangkok. Prince Jigme, who is described as a keen watersports fan, will arrive in Phuket on Friday, staying at the Amanpuri resort on Pansea Beach until next Tuesday. Phuket Governor Udomsak Uswarangkura said, We are already preparing water sports activities for the Prince . We have arranged for him to go parasailing, his favorite activity, in Patong. If the wind is too strong we will go to Koh Kai instead. Meanwhile, HM King Carl XVI Gustaf and HM Queen Silvia of Sweden are due to arrive in Phuket today for a week s stay in a private villa at Trisara, near Nai Thon Beach, during which they will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. They were married on June 19, 1976. HRH Crown Prince Sheikh Hama d Bin Khalifa Al-Thani and his wife Sheikha Moza Bin Nasir Al-Musnad of Qatar, who were previously expected to visit Phuket after the Jubilee, have canceled. As I understand it the camera's operation is determined by the elecrical supply for the whole Soi which comes on around 8pm and goes off between 2 and 3 am (local time). If the Soi is closed for elections etc. the electricity remains off too. Same-same for the wifi connection.

I've never actually looked at a live feed from the webcam............I'm asleep here in NZ when MTB is "active" 8pm is 1.00am here.........bugger if I'm staying up allnight to watch some BM or BG sink a singer.......55555......
