hey everyone, i just have a quick question about my Visa. before coming to patong i obtained a triple entry tourist visa. each of these entries allows me 60 days and i have have the option of extending each entry for 30 days at the immigration office. i am on my 2nd entry at the moment but over the next few weeks i plan to visit cambodia, maybe Laos, and a few other places. so when i come back from Cambodia ill be on my final entry.but what if i want to go to another country and return, will i only get the 30days entry because i have already entered the kingdom 3 times or how does it work. hope this makes sense becuase im a bit drunk.

Yes, as you said, when you have entered Thailand 3 times you have no entries left and will only get 30 days every time you cross the border.

People with one year visa usually ask for a re-entry permit which is something you have to ask and pay for when you leave the country. otherwise they dont have a visa when they come back.

Maybe this is applicable on 60 days tourists visas aswell?

Sorry guys but you can save your Visa entry for later.I did a trip out and came back in and the Immigration official asked me if I wanted to use my second entry or just take 28 days on arrival stamp.

I took the normal entry stamp and saved my Visa for later.

One word of caution. Be careful to check the small print on your Visa.When my friend and I drove to Sadao for a Visa turn around he was refused his second entry.

The use by date means that it must be done before the date on the Visa ticket otherwise you have forfeited it.

Depends on the official.. Often if presented a page without the tourist visa on it they will just 30 day you (if not you can lie and say your only in the country for 2 or 3 days.. Please dont stamp, you need it for next time, and you will get a 30)..

But if you have used a stamp and leave before its used up it is still one entry used.. But as long as you have >30 days and one or more entries left you can try to juggle it..
