Early bird
Wow!! - you do get up early. Some of us are just going to bed at that time.
Welcome to the board.
Look for 24 hour coffee shops in the hotels. Also the Euro Deli at the Sand Inn on the corner of Soi Sans Sabai is 24 hour service.

You know, I almost posted a 'no chance' reply to this but then I thought that every time I do that sort of thing someone proves me wrong so I will keep quiet.
Thinking about it, is the Expat coffee shop/ restaurant not 24hrs?

Last trip, there was talk about Expat coffee shop closing at night , don't know if it has happened or not.
Could always pop into Didi's for chicken nuggets , might bump into some BM's on the way home.

Depends what you mean by Thai breakfast.. The dim Sum place on Sai Nam Yen is open then.. I often drop in after a safari all night for Dim sum or sala bao breakfast / nightcapper..

I've been introduced to rice soup for breakfast just lately ( jok?) and have to say it makes a pretty good heart-starter along with a couple of cups of coffee.
I'd never really fancied it before, but rice soup shall be ever more on my breakfast list.

Thank you for the replies.
Yeap, i'm an early bird. Like to start my day with a nice good breakfast.
I've been to Phuket twice, stayed at the same place twice (Swiss Palm Beach), but never really searched for breakfast. I dont know why, mayb i was too lazy after the long beach walk.
This time i really dont want to eat the hotel breakfast cause the menu is so limited, same thing everyday.
For those who have replied with restaurants names, can you kindly give me some directions too?
Cant wait to go back in December 06. My last trip was in May 06 for 4 nights.

Must check my eyesight.

To find Sainamyen Rd,exit Bangla Rd at the top end and turn left. Continue until the next traffic lights and Sainamyen Rd is on the right. Its opposite Sawatdirak Rd and has an open air market on the lefthand side.
