Kamakizi from Yorkshire Inn
This afternoon I was in Faultys when Danny from the Yorkshire Inn came in enquiring about the owner of the Mama Mia Bar next door.He then told me what had happened.
Last night one of the guests at the Yorkshire Inn staying in a rear bedroom for some reason jumped out of his window.
He landed on the kitchen roof of MM Bar and went straight through ending up on the kitchen floor in a heap.He had trashed the sink unit when he bounced off it.
Danny left me his number and a letter of apology for Ollie the owner.I was there when he arrived and unlocked the pub.We went into the back and saw the damage.I was amazed the guy never injured himself. The drop from the roof to the floor is about 12 feet and the drop from the window to the roof is another 6 feet.He must have been well pissed to have bounced so well.
I have no idea how he got out again through the hole in the roof.No doubt there is more of this tale to tell.I hope to find out what the guy was up to.
The Yorkshire Inn have assured Ollie that they will pay for all the repairs.

Ive seen something like that before..... I was in Kuala Lumpur and stayed at the swiss garden hotel (its in the Pudu district of KL right by china town) It was a thursday morning 23rd october 2003 My last full day in Kl and i decided to head down to the resturant for breakfast.... Had breakfast and wentto the pool by about 9.30am i liked having a cola or sprite before going out for the day..... Having a sprite by the poolside bar i was talking to the barman and we heard the smashing of glass.... and a loud thud.... When i first heard it i thought it was a terrorist bomb and a couple of minutes later the maid came down and told the barman what had happened.... A man threw himself out of his hotel window and then crashed through the glass roof over the entrance to the hotel..... died instantly..... We wondered why he would do something like that..... I reckon he found out his wife was cheating and killed himself but we will never know..... I just wonder why people are so stupid to do stuff like that...... Your life isnt worth taking no matter how bad you think it is... Or maybe he was drunk and just fell out.... I would have thought that would have happened before somewhere between 9.30 and 10 am tho.............

Anybody know what happened to Jeff the Yorkshireman who originally owned the Yorkshireman Inn...hence the name. before Danny took it over.??
He used to live over at the Analpus estate in Kathu some years ago.

Maybe he was watching Zorro on HBO and fancied his chances, did you find a mask or wooden sword.
Has he turned up yet and have you found out what he was playing at.
It has got me intrigued this story- what was going through his mind (or what was he on) or did he fall? I see some people in some real states in Patong, nothing surprises me but it all always makes me smile, never a dull moment.
Regards
Drew

Maybe the guy believes in truth in advertising and thought that those 10 Red Bulls and Vodka really would give him wings.

I'm ashamed to admit it but it was me...
It was very early in the morning (about 06:00) after some heavy drinking, I was sitting on the windowframe smoking with one leg outside and one inside next thing I knew it was total darkness and I was crawling on the floor with a very sore back..
Somehow the lady with me managed to alert the Paul and the staff, my memories of that morning is a bit blur but I seem to remember they lowered down a rope so I could climb up.
I'm just happy I didn't injured myself, just a few cuts on the neck and shoulder plus a very sore back..
I'll be going back sep 10 but I wont try to fly again...
View of the hole from my window the day after.

Hi! when i was 8 years old we used to play on the roof of a local school..(not mine).anyway i fell through a skylight landing in the kitchen hitting my head off a stainless steel table on the way down..i "died" twice in the ambulance on the way to hospital..spent a month in there. When i recovered it was not long before i was out climbing trees and stuff again though i did stop playing on school roofs. Funny thing though was when i was 20 i was working(fixing) a roof that had been damaged by storms..i fell....again lol 15 feet and broke my wrist..i still feel pain in it to this day even as i type lol..
