Internet cafes/Down load photos.

Hi lads
Just wondering, Ive never used an internet cafe anywhere before, when Im in Los, is it possible to down load photos / email them etc from their computers??

e mail them certainly, down load them not sure. I have always transferred my photos onto a memory stick, and then emailed them from that. `however it shouldn't be hard to get a kodak stall to put your photos on cd-rom and email from there

I generally give the internet cafe guys my memory card and they put the pics on a cd, about 150baht, from there you can do what you want with them. Just ask, they will always help you out.

Good piece of advice.... when i eventually get back to Thailand i was wondering how i would be able to post pictures on here from a camera (i was planning on doing it from Phuket/Bangkok etc)... Also putting it on cd makes it easy then to transfer on to my PSP...

Posting one or two is not a problem, net cafes round patong are really well set up.. But if you mean uploading full res the entire collection net speeds are slow and a 512 mem card or a gig would take forever.. Get them put on CD's for pennies.

Some developing shops (most I guess) are really well set up for digital prints and cameras.. I was quite surprised to see how many BG's were coming in and sorting pics from mem cards and mobile phones for printing and on CD's.. Shop set up with all mem card readers and bluetooth etc.

Be very wary using internet shops if you log onto sites that involve passwords. I've had a lot of trouble in the past with unauthorised access to some of my accounts.
