Any Ideas
First post chaps, so a big hello.
Last went to Phuket in 1999. That was also my first time. I havent stopped wanting to go back for all the obvious reasons. Problem is my missus, (not married but living together for past 7 years) isnt too keen, you see I want to go either with my brother, who has been to Thailand a few times, or my mates, who are all single.
Last time the excuse, sorry, that should read reason, for my visit, was the marlin fishing!!. I am a keen fisherman you see. That one wont work now.
Have any of you got any reeeeelllyy top ideas for me to put to the love of my life why I should go back.
Cheers
Stuart

reasons
well with my old ex missus i used to use the scuba diving as my reason to go out as often as i do(she hated scuba diving) ,i also used the the white water rafting that was another good one (she hated most water sprots )and my favorite was because i love the place the wild life (meaning elephants im a big fan of elephants),to learn how to cook thai food,to learn the cultre and language and to see the sights.
needless to say after three visits it didnt start to wash, but hey we were well on our way to spliting up by then so i didnt care.
So im soooo looking forward to my sixth or is it seventh visit with the rest of us christmas mongers
i just hope my present falang chick never finds this web site now :p

Yeah cheers Eric.
Last time my mate went diving, hes got loads of cerificates and stuff from BSAC. Think he has an instructor level certificate?? My brother also took a PADDY course whilst he was there. My missus knows I'm not to keen on it though, love watching it on tv, but havent got the bottle I suppose. The diving is supposed to be really good out there amyway.
I think I'll just have to plug the marlin fishing thing again.
When we were there, we stayed at the Royal Cliff at first, but had to leave there cos of a 'misunderstanding' with one of the bg's, who suggested we may 'get a visit'. We then moved to the Surin appartments, on Surin beach. Very clean, air con and a small pool. Cant remember how much they were but is was cheap. They didnt care who we took back, and no extra charges. About 5 miles north of Patong. On surin beach there are a few bars, and one is owned by a guy known as diver, hes an aussie with a thai wife. Yes, hes a pro diver as well. Great guy, we hit it off straight away cos hes a rugby league fan, and I'm involved with our local superleague club.
cheers 4 now

Stuart,
Couldn't you use this as your excuse? Thailand Rugby Tens tournament at end of April? I know its a different code, or is your missus into rugby, as well?

Hi Luke,
yeah, she likes rugby as well. I have done work for a few union clubs in the past anyway, London Welsh, Swansea and Treorchy, as well as the WRU. I suppose I could try it. Where abouts is this tournament taking place anyway??
Cheers

Hi Stuart
if you want go fishing, ask one of the beach boys or the owner of the
chairs. They can arrange a fishing tour in a longtail boat for you.

Try this
How about -
Tell her she isnt getting any younger. Point out the fact that soon, she will start to grow horrible hairs from her chin and will clack her teeth like an old fart. Therefor, sex will go downhill in the future.
Tell her you want to have a fun time with friends drinking and shagging cheap dirty whors, but you will always have safe sex.
Or, you may be surprised and find that she wants to join in with 3 somes and group orgies.
Women like the truth. Dont lie.
Are you a man or a mouse?

Hi Stuart
if the sea is quiet it isn't unsafe. The boatman has a lot of experience and do not risk so much with a falang. Sometimes the boat is rolling and it may be you get a little bit sick.
I charged for the boat in December about 800 Baht/day We were 4 person - and had also drinks on board.
Make a day tour along the coast and after you decide to go fishing with this boat. I'm sure you will have a lot of fun.
