I played a big part in this and I'd like everyone to know that I'm embarrassed and ashamed about a comment I made. (Obviously, no point digging it out. If you read it, you know what I'm talking about, if you didn't, don't worry about it).
The God's honest truth is, I've always been stone cold sober when I've looked at this forum, except last night. I was waiting for the world cup game to start and had knocked back a few too many, and I got a bit mouthy. What I said was simply outrageous. Crude and stupid. When I read it again after a night's sleep, it made my blood run cold. I wrote straight away to the person I offended and apologised to him, fully and sincerely. I hope he's OK with that. I'd like to say sorry to everyone else. And now I hope we can move back to the interesting, lively and funny forum that we all enjoy. Once again, my apologies. Paddy. |
