as my return visit is only 5 weeks away i thought i put some photo's from my othertrips on the forum as there seems to be a bit of a lack of them by the members.

this one is of bangla road and al the tuk tuk waiting for the customers.
this was a quiet night for them.

to anyone who wants to know what Soi Eric looks like and the famous Mai Thai bar, I hope nicke has not changed the blue tiles or it might be hard to find.

This photo is of the Tiger Night Club in the day time, see the doggy stair near the telegraph pole up to the Tiger Night Club there even more dangerous when you've had a few at the end of the night.

the second is of the Banana Disco on the beach road. this is my rating for the night clubs in patong

Ist Tiger ( big, and you can have a quieter drink at the outside bar.
2nd Star world,
3rd Tai pan
4th Banana Disco 9 bit to small to have a good time in, not a mixture of thai and falangs. mostly falangs and couples.

these pictures are from p........ cape.
me and my mate went there with a few from the mai thai bar.
the first one is not people waiting to see dirty mike with his new lady boy but all waiting for the sun set.
the second is the hill you have to go down to get to the end of the cape. look carefully and you can make out the people coming down the hill. looks worst then it is, but it does take a while to do.

time for a bit of culture.
these are from a few temples me and my mate visited with some staff from the mai thai bar on a public holiday in feb 03. very nice relaxing day, had a quick pray in the temples and lit a few smelly sticks but sadly my lottery numbers have still not arrived.

I have not got a clue where the temples are but im sure nicke may know.
i was just the driver of the jeep.

the first one is a girl from the captain kirk bar in feb 03.i think her name is SA or i may be wrong, if anyone knows put the name up.
the second is the owner of the crazy chicken bar "tilka" this may be the wrong spelling of her name but there's hundreds of women and never enough time to get there real name and spelling.
first timers to thailand who visit a bar do not ring the bell because you have to buy every one at the bar a drink, or pay 1000baht for a round of some fruit liquor that taste bad. so don't be temped to ring it.

this is the last photo for now.
this one is for dirty mike, some well doggy lady boys at the front of Soi ladyman. there is curtainly a vast difference between a good looking lady boys and a bad looking lady boy.
you can rate them if you like. personally i would only give them a 2.
one point for smiling and another point for wearing them doggy dresses.

Hi Baz,

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics. They brought back some great memories.

As for the 3 ladyboys, I totally agree. There is a HUGE difference between the good and bad ones.
I have a story about one of those ladyboys.

They all work at Andaman Queen in the show, but the one in the middle really fancied me (I dont know why

). Anyway, every time I used to watch the show, they always were starring at me.

One time I went for a piss, and who should come in, but the one in the middle. She/he had a great big set of golden wings and a big golden hat. They were really drunk, and they stood next to me for a piss, lifted their skirt, and started having a waz. Next thing, they are smiling at me and 'its' golden crown fell off. They were stumbling around trying to pick it up off the floor. It was bizzarre.

As for good ladyboys, I think I have been with a few. Here is a nice one -

she is a good lady and a good friend of mine, she used to have some stunning girls work for her .
always has time to talk and not just the usual stuff i.e hello where you from .
i must have heard life story more times than i care to mention.last time we spoke on the phone she told me she has a new boyfriend in america,no idea how long this one will last though.

Crazy Chicken were located in the middle row, in the middle of the street Soi Easy. That bar is closed since 4-5 months I guess. Tukta work in Soi Eric now, at her sister's & Danny bar English Bar.

The bar was bought by one of her boyfriends in the past, he is dead now thought. There was an article in Phuket Gazette before about this.

And... she worked in MTB when I first opened the bar, I may have old picture of her.

Thanks for the photos Baz Its my first visit next April and I can't wait.Those pics really have whetted the appetite. One question,apart from the obvious how the f... do you tell the ladyboys from the real thing?? Is it the adams apple and the hand size?

there pretty much easy to spot,they act very extrovert compared to a majority of the thai bar girls and they are usually all around soi katoey/crocodile and dancing up on there podiums or posing for fotos.you will see them doing there make up every 5 minutes as well which you wont normally see a bar girl doing.saying that they are a good laugh so dont be offended by them or offend them,they are out for fun like you and if you are not interested in them they wont pressure you.i have never had a problem with 1.(except the one who had a bigger di ck than me)

I always enjoy watching the few street walkers at the front of Soi Katoey stalk the Japanese tourist. They can spot them 100m away.

Sure they are alot of fun and you won't get pressured much, except for when you stagger home at night along the beach. It's like "dancing with the devil under the pale moon light". Geez some of them have a strong grip. But don't fear, as pissed as you are I recon you'll always be able to outrun a ladyboy in high heels. Just watch your wallet for itchy fingers.
