thai citizenship??????

i been under the immpression that in order to get this you need to be married to a thai for 5 years is this true ??????????? although i did read that it has now been abolished.......

Its a nigh on impossible process..

Many years in country.. History of tax payments (cant be retired).. Learning about Thai history (like they know thier own history !!).. Speaking Thai.. Only a handful off applications have been granted from the 100,000s made since TRT have come in.. Basically forget about it as a man marrying a Thai female.. Not gonna happen. Literally one in a million.

I know someone who has deposited 40m baht for special investor status and eventually gained PR.. Even with that kind of commitment he still cant get citizenship.

I was recently told an amount (highish but not unreasonable) that could be paid to a official that would give a real Thai passport (not a forgery).. How that Thai passport would be recieved in attempting to own land etc would be hard to tell.. Have to become fluent in the language as a min.

ok i got all that thanks mate....... so it must be 49% to farang-51% of that goes to the thai women for business and house yeah

I would use paid for directors with pre signed resignation forms.. No need to involve wives and relationship issues.. Why mix business and pleasure..
