Wedding In Phuket
I'm heading to Phuket with my fiance and a plane load of Aussies and Irish to get married in May of next year. I have a hotel organised but haven't organised a venue for the ceremony and the reception.
I'm looking for suggestions on venue for the ceremony and a venue for the reception for approximately 50 guests. Hotels are charging high prices for alcohol so it would be ideal to find a venue which would allow me to buy the alcohol wholesale and bring it with. Any ideas would be appreciated, links to websites contact details etc. Cheers Scotty

Hey Scotty,
My mate got married at the end of last year and had the ceremony at the outside pavillion in Patong Resort. Nice location, big enough for the amount of people you are wanting, next to a large pool and nice gardens. I'll find out what it cost him per head. We went to the company the provides our alcohol and they delivered it. Patong Resort didn't have a problem with people supplying their own grog. I'll get back to you with costs etc.

Hi Scotty. I got married last March, only afew months ago at the Boat Lagoon in Phuket. It's on the east side of the island. They had a gorgeous buffet for only 300 Baht per person. We brought our own beer and wine, so it was cost-effective. It was poolside with a stage set up for us to speak and get our blessings.

Weddings
TaiLife in soi sansabai behind Tai Pan in Patong had just done a terrific wedding last week. A great setup, good food and wine. The total cost was very reasonable. Can let you know details if needed.
