Can anyone tell me where this bar is?seemingly just been taken over by an Aussie that I worked with in UK last year.

First bar on right side in Soi Eric.

Was a Paradice bar at Tiger before but that is gone

If I hear Paradise Bar I still think about the old one that was on the beach road for ages.

The one in Soi Eric have just been there for a year or so, the current (?) owner used to have a bar in Tiger before, so its possible his bar in tiger had the same name.

Quite sure it was,the daily manager at Lotus used to run it up in Tiger and they have moved down to Soi Eric.
Still very quiet.

The one at beach road for ages was a classic,was one of Patongs most popular bars.
The owner have draw back and live in Phuket City,they did raise the rent to a level he couldent live with.
So no they sell sun glasses instead at that place ??

The words Paradise Bar (original) sing to many memories with my late father and mother (still living) and many many friends that it surely does bring back fond memories of Patong. When it was taken aback by the Horizon Resort, it just made me feel a little bit more pissed off with progress and development. But what can you do, who are we to stand in the way of capatalism!! I hope that all the nice bar maids (as apposed to bar girls) have been looked after. I think it vanished well over 5 years ago by now. One of my fondest memories was there was watching a Mike Tyson heavey weight title fight there. I wonder what ever happened to all of the tea towels and flags that hang from the rafters.

I was at the Paradise Bar in SOI TIGER last night...3rd bar from the end, righthand side...taken over 3 weeks ago by a New Zealander!?

I'm guessing it was him sat at the bar when I was there...I'd say late 30's and with dark curly fairly long hair? If you want to get a message to him you can PM me.

yeah thats him,thanks for the offer but I will be in Patong 4-8 September so when I drop into MTB I will see him then
