Bierstube on the Beach ??

During my last trip to Patong in 1997,there was a bierstube on the beach at the end of Banla Rd on the right as you faced the ocean.Besides beeing a darn god place for some light food after a day in the sun,it was good for a beer (or 10) and to watch the magnificent sunset !! Does anybody know if it`s still exist ?
