Thanks Ichiban!
But it sounds like two different places! Sunset Apartments and Sun Hill. But I'll look with open eyes. Don't want to end up in the "wrong" place!

Hi Sunem, just wondering if you ended up staying here? Seems like a good price for a 2 bed apartment. Has anyone actually stayed here who can give me their opinion of it ?
Cheers!

I stayed at sunset Mansion which is next door to the sunset apartments. And I think owned and run by the same people? Stayed there for a month and had no problem at all, nice staff. I would be interested in hearing your opinion on the Sunset apartments as I will be Living in Phuket for 6 months next year and if the price is right I Wouldn't mind staying there.

If you stay 6 months, there must be cheaper ways....
Look on the add page int the "Phuket-Gazette". Locals houses are rent there.
I rent mine for 12.000 bath/month. Bullocks is that this one has been rented for 3 years. Can not blame the owner, it is more interesting for him, then to rent here and there!
My ex-gf, rented a house 4.000 bath/month near Chaweng. But that one was not furnished! If you rent condo's that are made for tourists, you will pay much more. My house had 2 bedrooms, quite a nice livingroom, with a seperate table to eat, a tv-corner with dvd....

12,000 baht/ month nice. I dont want to be too far from patong beach. That being said a 10 minute scooter trip is not too far, but I would rather be able to walk everywhere i want to go within 15-20 minutes. Yea I will check out the Phuket Gazette........was thinking of just rocking up and having a look around when I get there. Something under 20,000 baht would be nice.

If staying for 6 months you will be able to find something to fit your needs at those prices..
Ask the BM's who are here before you come and work on it in the first couple of weeks.. No problems.

At 24.000, having all the touristic amenities, it is really not bad then!
I would sincerely think about it, if I wanted to be close to the action!
