Phuket

Hello to everyone on this forum!! This is my first post and I wanted to start by thanking all the members for their usefull information and pics, I have enjoyed reading everything up to now. I will be making my first trip to Phuket from Dec 19 to Jan 5 and have a question about hotels. I have booked with a buddy at the C & N resort and spa and was wondering if anyone has any information about this hotel, or if anyone has stayed here before. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the board.

C&N spa is only 2 years old so I guess the rooms is in good condition, like new. I havent been there myself but those who stayed there liked it.

It's located on the road to Karon beach, close to Simon Cabaret.

I have stayed there a few times (actually was there the very first night they opened). The rooms are quite nice with a small lock box in the closet. The pool is nice and by now the spa should be open. They were still working on it the last time I was there, but that was April '02. The breakfast was nothing to get excited about. I like the location as it's a little bit outside of everything, but not so far that you can't walk to Bangla (about 1km). I hope that helps.

I stayed there at the end of May 2003. As mentioned rooms clean and bright and nice quiet location but a bit out.Could walk into town but would take a good 20 - 30 mins especially in that heat,best get a tuk tuk. One good thing about the rooms is that while you lie on your bed you can see through a window into the bathroom and watch your girlie taking a shower

.Food not brilliant but staff were very polite and helpful. I will be staying at the original C&N but will make full use of the pool and jacuzzi at the Resort and Spa as part of the deal.
