I think the record so far is held by Big Boy- 2 Faulty Burgers and a plate of chips! Faulty's now marked on Sunem's map at Siam Tourist Maps, the map You need in Phuket, Thailand!

For me the best burgers on the island is in Karon.... ok mybe that's not true because everytime i went there i was just ****ing drunked. The place is a little foodstall near all bars at Karon, by the circle.
I can't remember the price (off course! ) but i think it was about 80B.
And for sure, avoid MC donald's....

Gollum,
Kind of hard for food to get in your mouth when you're either sucking on piss or a nipple....

Just about finished off a Faulty Burger - excellent - gets my vote too.
PadMc was up there yesterday - wolfed down one - went to shower and came back an hour later for a second - impressive.
To top it off met someone who managed to down THREE Big Boys Milkshakes and still drank on .... very impressed for sure !
|
I was in good form that day Kev! The beer went down better after that.
I have been sticking to the Thai dishes since... Usually the "large spring roll" for breakfast... Last night had the "Noodles Rad Na + Pork", yum yum! The "Khao Pat" is a safe bet also.
As was pointed out already the Thais like it too... I was in yesterday with a
Thai Girl. She had the "Seafood glass noodles" (very hot!). She was genuinely impressed...
Great sevice too! Cheers Ning!

Stay back Denver
You will have to do a heap of overtime and still would not be able to afford Mr Yut the chef.
If I see you hanging around here with a big kit bag I will know you are up to something.
Next time you are in town I'll force feed you burgers till you explode.

I had the most amazing burger just off the crossing rat-u-thit/bangla last year. Maybe the experience was hightened by me having to much Meh Kong and in need of some food before going to Safari I was shown the little burger-from-a-box by the owner of Scandinavian Inn.
I will definitely try the Faulty Burger this year however. And some of the other items on the menu as well as it sounds.

Does this place have a website or pictures or the list for menu?
What if i cant finish the burger? Would it be rude just to leave some on the plate? There are some really huge burger joints in Kuala Lumpur like Chilis and i cant seem to drink or eat anything else after finishing the burger.
I think i will go there for lunch. Then i can skip dinner and drink more at night.
Will go there in Oct 06. Cant wait for trip.
Already booked with Air Asia for 5 nights.
Yahoo!!!

Nautilus,
I don't think you'll offend them if you can't finish. I couldn't finish it but I think they know why.
Enjoy, make sure you have some wet tissue to clean up afterwards. DELICIOUS!

Mr Yut can certainly cook, he does not always seem like his happy, but he does enjoying hearing that people enjoyed the meal, the chops and mash are just fine with me...will be happy to return over and over...just the thing you need when going on the mend....damn now I'm hungry just thinking about it.

stevem, Chilis Bangsar is still the place for burger, besides Hard Rock Cafe.
There are many Chilis outlets now, but Bangsar is still the original one and the best.
I luv that place, go there once a month.
Sad their magrarita now isnt fresh anymore.

I used to live in the tall white apartment building behind the shopping centre, Jumnah View, so it was extremely handy.
