unusual drinks
As we all seem to be seasoned travellers/drinkers ,i assume we have sampled some unsual drinks, i know Mikegb has a special knock back and Nicke has his turkish peppers, but how about some of the ones we do not hear to much about.
so let me start another thread has any heard of or can tell us of any weired and wonderfull drinks ?
Ok to start you all of has any one heard of a
" Cheecky Vimto " ?
im told it is a pint glass with a double Port and a bottle of the blue W.K.D mixed together,
apparently it is one of them rocket fuel type drinks.
what i found the most potent was when i was in vietnam i was given rice wine and snake wine, more an accuired taste i would have to say :p

Hi Irish Jonny
Hi IJ,
Your drink called 'fat frog' looks interesting.
Normally people call me 'fat c-nt' because I drink 10 pints of lager. Does this count?
C U around crimbo.
p.s. I aint drinking Guinness. My turds are a joy to behold WITHOUT putting that stuff down my kneck!

South-african fruit coctail...
2 cl tequila
1 cl tabasco
2 cl Sambuca.
First sambuca, then slowly tabasco, and then tequila even slower so it not mix together. It is difficult not to mix, but if you are careful and use a small spoon, it will work...
It was invented on a tour of some very pissed drunk roadies..
You drink it on your own risk

Sounds like a killer shooter You have to show me at Christmas then.
I have a new shooter I like, Fisherman Friends, thanks to R3aps and Jan at Valhalla. I have to say it not everybody like it, but most do.

ETV,
I'd have to agree with you on the Snake wine... it is an acquired taste. Did yours have a baby cobra in the bottle? The one I had in Vietnam had was from a Chivas Regal looking bottle with a Baby Cobra in it. Supposed to be good for "junior" and revitalises energy... but for those of you not that adventurous.. stick to Vitamin V.

I tried also a wine with a snake in the bottle in Vietnam. If you don’t know it taste very good.
In the Eric’s Shooters Bar (2 bars before MTB) you can also try a spirit with a snake in the bottle!
I can give all the advice: try and have fun!!

You have not tried to drink snake blood, they mostly mix it with vodka, whiskey or conjac.
They say it is good for the little head.
Hv tried it once n I don't know if it was the vodka which we mixit with or the blood....
I tried it when I was there in the begining of the 90´s. Before it was open up for tourist. The vodka cost ca USD1.50 and the snake USD15.00. The beer was ca USD5.00 for the 333.( I think the name was ).
It was quite fun

Eg. if you have one litre bottle,
fill it with two pack of white fisherman friends, 70 cl vodka and top it with soda.

You pass through a shopping arcade and at the end you find the restaurant/bar named "Beergarden"
I'm sometimes there to drink some "Weissbier"
