It is possible to spoof the domain name in Internet Explorer.

Check if your browser is vulnerable, http://www.phuket-info.com/spoof.htm

This mean you can not always trust websites that may look safe, e.g. be careful where you enter sensitive information or credit card details, it may be a fake page.

Yes, the test link reload the page and you will see www.microsoft.com instead of www.phuket-info.com

any good recommendation?

Anyway will not change my IE 6.0 to any other browser...

I guess Microsoft will release a patch within 2-4 weeks, they say they dont release it in December but probably in the beginning of january next year to fix this bug.
