Something I enjoy sometimes...
Is to rent a sauna at C&N Resort & Spa, there are also similar setups at Patong Beach Hotel and probably lot other hotels.
I have a sauna, steam room, hot water jacuzzi and cold water pool all for myself. Good smell and relaxing music from the speakers.
After one hour I feel refresh and relaxed... and cost 300 baht for one hour.
I went to the one at Patong Beach Hotel many years ago with friends a few times, but last year I have been to C&N sometimes, mostly myself but sometimes with Ead and Nat.

Wow didnt know you could get a completely private one.. With cold pool.. Thats a good price and I will look into that with the missus..
I use valhalla sauna and the viking ice box.. Theres another one I have visited at a place near the Argantinian grill on Kalim beach but forget the name..
Can sweat out a hangover or sickness in a sauna..

Sometimes I like a quiet place and being alone (or with Ead/Nat) and just relax.
Regarding public saunas, Nerntong Resort is the name of the Kalim place, Greenview resort (Nanai) and Tai Life (Sansabai/Sunset) are others I used to visit.
Tai Life got a new Swedish owner and it is currently closed I am told, but will start going there again when they open this week. Need exercise.

Nicke, I was looking at Joining Tai Life but heard they are closed for a bit. What's the story with their customers that prepaid for a year or per month and can't even use the facilities while they close. Are you being reimbursed?

I go to the gym 7 or 8 times a week and always end my session with a steam or sauna. And it does work wonders on a hangover, just make sure that you have enough water to drink.

Brett left Patong already, I dont think we will see him anymore.
I dont know why he denied so hard the place was up for sale, which it obviously was and already have a new owner.
I asked a friend who know the new owner and was told Tai Life is open now. (Yesterday or today)
As long the pricing is OK I will continue go there, need some exercise.
