For what market is this aimed?

Interesting. .... What market is this aimed at? Wealthy Thai's? Retired (over 50) foreigners who decide to tie up assests to qualify for the retirement Visa? ... I am wondering if developments like this (even though very attractive) are at risk of being impacted by the recent Visa law implementation.

i would assume japanese
i have been staying at Baan Yin Dee since i 1st visited Thailand
about a year and half ago, seems they sold a major stake to japanese investors
and the clientele has defintely changed to more Japanese, which i assume is the reason for the dramatic surge in their hotel prices!!

Yikes! US$139 a night low season plus 18% taxes! But it sure looks like a nice place. The pool looks great.

1st time i went, only about 3 years ago it was US$125 for march and april
US$250/nt in high season is outrageous. i love the place but when you look at the negatives,(trucks driving by while your relaxing in the pool, and no gym) i think it is way overpriced now
