What should I take to Puket town from Patong?

The fast way to travel is motorbike taxi, next is a tuk tuk,not many cabs or cars but you will work it out, cab from airport ask the cabie how much too get about maybe 100tb around the towns local
you may miss Bangkok taxi's

There is also a bus service that runs quite often during the day, It starts from the far end of beach road, runs along the beach front picking up with another stop at the junction of beach road and Soi Bangla.

Not sure on the price but i would say lot cheaper than a Tuk Tuk

B) Tuk Tuk Starting at 100B
C) Bus to Phuket town 40B....Pickup on Beach Rd.

Cheap motorbike taxi rates.. They always want 40 baht from town to nanai these days and one had a spitting hissy fit that 40 wasnt enough to my house (its up a small hill they seem to have some kind of problem with that) really thought it was going to get silly.. No way I was giving him the 80 baht he asked for.

They charge my GF 40 baht also.. So its not a Farang price thing.. Maybe its seeing the house ?

Anyway small difference but Phukets tuktuk and motocy guys are a real pain in the ass.. The required haggle every time.. The pissed off after.. The getting heavy on people (I suspect at my size I get off easy and thats a lot worse for other people).. They really are a bit of a nuisance.

Hire a motorbike and take yourself around. I got a scooter recently for 150 Baht per day from a place in Nanai Road (left side heading South). You don't need many tuk-tuks to cover that cost! I rode around the whole island. It is very easy to get around. Make sure you wear a helmet and don't go the wrong way down Bang La road......that's a 300 Bht fine....D'Oh!
