Blocked in at the airport!!

A few of you may know this already but incase you get stuck I thought I might share this with you.

I got back from a pretty gloomy 10 days in London on business and was feeling well jet lagged. My brother faithfully greeted me as usual as I came out of baggage reclaim (9.30 am) and we walked to the motor only to disover that some tool had parked right behind us blocking our way.

Now the sun was baking down I was knackered and the owner of this vehicle was nowhere to be seen. After five minutes this cab driver comes over and says do we want a hand pushing it. I thought why not but it'll be a struggle as this things a bloody great volvo saloon and its hotter than a snakes **** in the Moharbi dessert. The three of us get behind it and it moves with no effort whatsoever, infact I had more trouble slowing it down from hitting the car that had parked just as stupidly infront.

My brother and I thanked the cab driver got in the car, looked at eachother and said "Welcome to Thailand" and laughed.

Anyway, the advice is, if your blocked in dont dispair the had brake is propable off. I hope this helps.

As you say "Welcome to Thailand", but this is SOP in Thai car parks.

They leave the handbrake off deliberately so you can push the car out the way. This normal accepted practice in Thailand
