for 2000 baht the worlds your oyster,u should be able to get a very good hotel for that sort of money.i am happy with c and n hotel tho,1 min walk to the action, decent sized rooms and friendly staff.but no pool, but who cares the beach is 3 minutes away.

Hi

Once I stayed in Bayshore resort for 2000 baht/double room/king size bed, main drawback: it's not near bangla road. Nice garden, all bungalows at level zero with armchairs at the terrace, nice atmosfere in hotel, swimming pool, safety deposit, breakfast in open air ... but who needs breakfast in patong (Certainly not me). Sometimes 300 baht fine if you take a girl back to the hotel.
Safety boxes at reception.

But I agree you can find a hotel a lot cheaper. i prefer the hotel at the end of Bangla Road, above the coffee house next to VIP. I guess 1200 baht pro night.

Cheers

Steven
