If you mean in Patong, it varies from about 60 baht to 100, depending on where and at what time you drink (happy hours etc!). Clubs will/can be more expensive.
Cocktails usally start at 100-120 baht from what I remember!
Use the search engine to look through this site, or you can always google some bar names, as most websites have drinks menu's for some reason (Not as if you can order a internet take-away!).

Chang 30bht in my local pizzaria restaurant, usually 60 to 80bht in bars and up to 140bht in some clubs, that is price for singha, chang, tiger & hieneken, stupid beer you put a piece of lime in but for some senile reason I cannot seem to remember its name, is usually more expensive about 140 in normal bar.

That would be Corona. I read several years ago that it was never the idea of the Brewer to add the lime, but rather the third (after two failures) importer in California, that was simply thinking out of the box. What prompted him to do this I do not know. Could it be to re flavor a beer the market did not care for?
Nonetheless, he made some good money I am sure. I was in San Diego last week and no matter what brand of Mexican beer I ordered thay all came with a lime. Personally I do not like it.

Did you make it down to Tijuana? (To buy Coronas of course.) They're cheap there. Going there to see a donkey show never crossed my mind. I used to drink Dos XXes when visiting, always without lime. They were cheap, but everytime you go to the bathroom the attendant asks for a tip. More if you want toilet paper! Gotta love T.J.! Herb and Carl Donkey Show

actually the lime was never meant to go in. Is meant to be put on the rim so that the flies don't go sit on it.

I bet Mr Leonard Lime of the local Californian Lime Emporium was dancing the fajita on his sombrero too! Other than fancy cooking programmes on the BBC I've not seen much use for limes.
Had a couple of Coronas last trip and to me it's another much of a muchness lager/pils but at nearly double the price of my usual tipple I soon ditched them for 55/60 Bahters or anything Nelson was buying.
If lime juice keeps flys from the neck of the bottle why don't Mexican women............No, forget that one!

I did not make it to Tijuana, and I think that is a place that I may never see again.
I lived in So Cal between 1986 and 96 and went there from time to time. Towards the end I felt less and less safe, especially at night. I went back in 2000 or '01 and it had gotten worse. There are many other great places in Mexico, starting 1 hour south of TJ.

For some reason I doubt that. Or perhaps is goes with the false rep that Corona is Mexican piss.
While I am not 100% sure, I really believe that it was a matter of marketing.

Do the cooking programs in the UK get lime all the way from California? It may actually be that the Californian Lime Emporium started the importation of Corona (the third time).

I too have heard that the lime is to stop flies entering the bottle.. It does taste good with carona tho.. I am partial to a corona during the day, nice light taste in the heat..

You mean Ensenada? Yes, getting away from the border really changes things. It's nice down there. Been to Anthony's Lady Bar? I hear the donkey shows aren't nearly as good.

When the US Navy was visiting we would get in an extra 10 boxes of Corona and then before the end of the night we would always be out hunting for more. Myself dont really like the stuff.

Corona is a light(er) beer, which I agree is a good option during the day. However, wouldn't a lime do the same for a Coors Lite, Bud Lite, etc.?
BTW if the lime is truly to keep the flies away, then why is the custom to add the lime where no flies are? I can't speak for Mexico, but So California is not know to be plagued by flies, at least no to the extend it puts your beer at risk. On the flip side, if it was, wouldn't all bar keepers be using this trick for all beers......or are flies only targeting Mexican beers.

People who don't care for Corona refer to it as Mexican piss. The clear bottle (which is against serious brewers policy because of UV light) may have contributed to that slant. Personally I like a plain Corona when I am in the mood for a light (day-time) beer.

Perhaps flys are cleverer than we think and have decided if they are going to do a kamikazee jobby in a bottle of beer it might as well be the in the most expensive one. Maybe they have a sweet tooth and like lime???

If i remember correct they started with the lime to take away the rost (or taste of the rost) which they had on the cap in the begining.
this was the story I got when I was in Mexico.
Same thing with the lime or salt when drinking shots of Tequila (I don't remember which one). That was to take away the bad taste of liquor you get when you make it cheap.

There was a bar on Soi Seadragon (right hand side as you enter) that had an offer of 4 Changs for 140 Baht. Good price innit, but the BGs there used to molest me all over. I felt like a piece of uncovered meat.
