Give me strength someone.

What I mean JP is for you to start your own thread in Idle chit chat asking about work in SE Asia.
If anyone knows something then they can post there, and you don't have to ask this same question in every thread where someone mentions they are relocating

I didn't realise the UN had 24 different agencies in Thailand. I have worked for the UN as a civilian before in Georgia (Not USA) and whether you believe in what they are all about is good or bad, they do sort out all your work permits, visas, accommodation etc etc.

I just had a quick trawl through and there are several vacancies and one or two I can certainly have a go at! They are normally 6 month to 1 year rotations..........So I best get my Thai learning head on and studying the books! 5555555

It would appear they administer Laos, Cambodia and Myanar from Bangkok as well, so plenty of potential. I may do some further investigating for future reference.

Why dont you shrink your head and use it as a paperweight? Its not much use for writing intelligent posts with, thats for sure. You wouldnt know a clue if it walked up to you, bit you on the ass, and announced 'I AM A CLUE'.

Before you get all fired up for a move to Thailand, just bear in mind, work is work wherever you go, even in paradise. I was sat in MTB the other night talking to a mate of mine I used to work with in England. He quit a year ago and came out here. He got a job, but as he said to me the other night, when you're sat in an office in Basingstoke and all you can see outside is warehouses, you can dream of something better. When you're sat in an office in Phuket and you can see palm trees outside, and you still have to put in a full day's work, it can be even more frustrating...

I've thought about a move out here (or maybe Oz) a few times, but you need to have a plan and a realistic view about what life's going to be like. I've compromised, taken a year off to go travelling, and hopefully at the end of that I'll have a better idea of what I can do if I want to move abroad. Diving Instructor on Koh Tao is looking kind of appealing right now

Dawsey,
You stand partly corrected. You should have used .info instead of .com
Try this site http://jobsforjpinasia.info/
