havent heard about this at all until now steve but its certainly an interesting one , Thai Air is by far my favourite airline for flying into Bangkok and on to Phuket, the food is quite good , decent amount of leg room in economy and who can forget those lovely lovely lovely thai hostesses in those sexy thai uniforms , horny before i even get to thailand , would love to join the mile high club with one of them
So will this mean same thai air service but at low cost or does it mean transfering some of their customers onto lesser airlines for cheap prices , if anybody knows anything please post , if anyone has a true story to tell about banging a thai air hostess in the toilets ..please post

Thai airways is already offering discounting prices to Bangkok, 3600 baht or something for roundtrip tickets, to prepare for their low cost airline.

Just one more note regarding Thai Airways low price tickets (to prepare for their own low price airline and to compete with AirAsia), you need to book atleast a few days in advance and there are only 20 seats or so available on each flight. So plan ahead and booking all your tickets needs long time before you arrive. AirAsia's low prices also need booking minimum two weeks in advance I think or you end up paying lot more.
