Hey, realman, what happened to your post?

Anyhow, here is a rely to your vanished posting...
I have never been to thailand, but I am moving there soon for work. I am confused and intreaged reading the posts in this forum and I confused and intreged in trying to guess what my reaction to the BG culture will be. I do not want to cast judgment on those who screw BGs, ( I may very well become one of them!) I relate to most of the postings here - but like you RealMan, I do have moral concerns.
But "Desperate and Sick" - harsh words RealMan.... are you seeking to understand the attraction in ****ing a bar girl, or to put down those who do?
Obviously I have never been with a bar girl and I hope in life never to use and abuse people, but nothing in life is black and white. Is morality universal and unchanging, or does it vary with culture, place and time? I suspect the latter. So what is right, wrong and sick? Tell me.
In my culture, place and time I am in profesional employment, I have at least average intelligence (even if I cant spell!) and average looks - overall I am a fine fellow, yet for some reason unknow to me I have not been able to find a girlfriend for several years now, despite having numerous female friends....
Perhaps I am desperate, but the possibility of physical attention tempts me. I would rather not have to pay. I would rather have a conventional girlfriend, but I have all but given up on that now...It seems to me that women and men are players in the same game, but each plays by different rules.
It is a shame, but I have become cynical towards relationships, I do not want to be as such, but I cannot deny the reality of what I see and experience. Yet there remains that unquenched need for female attention. That RealMan is why I can see myself with a bar girl...if you are serious in wanting to know....
Sure her interest is me would probaby be largely pretend, but what relationship isn't part illusion?
Now RealMan, how about you seriously ( and without emotive language ) convince me why I should not shag a BG - while you still have the chance!

People has the right to have their own opinions but they can do it in a nice manner instead of telling people they are sick, ugly and so on.

It's fine with me wether or not people go with bargirls, if they don't like it, up to them and I respect their opinion.

Perhaps he took my advice and went to the ''men who do as they are told by farang women forum'' thats where he clearly belongs.
Caravan man , you need to understand that b/g's in thailand are probably the ones who do the exploiting of the men just as much as the men do of them, i know of many who have many 'longtime boyfriends' at one time and all these men send money to them from back home to their banks and thats just the tip of the iceberg believe me. Enjoy your time there and just remember not to get attached to them unless you find a lady away from the bar scene but even then you will have to be careful .
my advice is have good sex and a good time and treat them with respect , then you will be fine...good luck

The reason I like this forum is because I had a fantastic time in Thailand and Patong in particular and reading other peoples experiences brings it all back.

I did have some "moral scruples" on the aircraft but quite frankly these were quickly dispelled by the genuine charm of the girls and having sex with them was quite an experience I can tell you. Bath time will never be the same again for many Patong visitors.

It is also quite difficult for even the strongest amongst us to resist the siren charms of a beautiful girl saying "I really want Boum Boum with you" whatever her financial motivation - drink helped too. I am afraid I succombed ridiculously easily and indeed frequently!

I do hope you have a great time but as Butterflyblonde says do not fall oin love with them. Great advice, almost impossible to follow.
