Help me!!! NYE in Bangkok or Pattaya?!!

Hi all!!!
will be traveling with 2 friends and we're stuck in a pickle right now regarding accommodation, since haven't got anything booked for the periods around new years. Would it be easier to look for accommodation in Bangkok or Pattaya during this busy time of the year. I do want it to be gf friendly as well but finding accomodation is more crucial right now.
Thanks!! any help is appreciated

Both will be busy - Patts will be easier to get accommodation.

Flights from BKK to Phuket will also soon (if not already) be full for this time.

I AGREE WITH Gez bangkok will be full for the better hotels you could try the honey hotel on sukhumvit soi 19 nice swim pool only 10 mins walk to nana plaza and even less to soi cowboy www.honeyho@k.s.c,co.th

im pattaya try the carlton hotel opposite the alcazar and big c www.carltonpattayahotel.com

or the sandy springs on soi 13 google search for website

or try rhe sabai inn and sabailodge hotels both opposite each other on soi 2 at the beach road Sabai Inn - Cosy and Comfortable like home and www.sabailodge,com

the carlton will be around 700 bhat a night the rerst will be around 1500 bhat a night

you could also try some of the hotels in jomtien

iff all else fails try going down to hua hin 3 hours by taxi from bangkok itr google search for thipparai city and jed pee nong hotels

There are loads of hotels in BKK your trouble is being able to get one near the action that has 3 rooms spare on NYE. You probably have to look a little further afield of sukhumvit, there are many around Lumphini area and Rama IV which is about a 35-60 baht taxi ride away. I haven't stayed there myself though I know of "Boss Tower" in that location.

Gday Neogeo, You will find accommodation in both BKK and Pattaya for that time but its best to try and book early, maybe if you tell us how much you want to spend per night we can give you some tips, or you can look in the accommodation section. I personally would chose Pattaya over BKK as the place to ring in the new year….pattaya is “the” party town, and there’s a lot more options.
