I think you'll be better off getting it in Oz.
I bought the biggest one they had. 600 baht for a Thai sized XL. Normally I need a Thai XXL (same as US/UK L). I can squeeze in, but it's tight. If you have more a thai sized build then you'll be fine.

Regarding Apple and Sony
You would want the discount for buying it in Thailand to be pretty big to outweigh the risk of having to make a warranty claim once you take it back to your home country.

If you buy an Apple here, it'll have the Thai keyboard. Personally I find it annoying as it makes it harder to see the English stuff.

As some of you guys were talking coffee earlier, it sparked my interest, as I DO like my cup of coffee!!
I have been doing a bit of research and it seems that the big secret is in the grind and the type of grinder.
Coffee for Connoisseurs
I put the link in, as this site tends to explain things in a way that even I can understand and seems logical so may even be TRUE!!!
let me know your thoughts

I dont have a grinder here but did have a burr grinder back in Holland. I find fresh ground has a better taste but my all in one machine that grinds and makes average only coffee.
I would actually dig having a go at home roasting.. If nothing else the small would be superb !!

I think ipods are only black or white.. The microsoft Zune is a direct competitor and that comes in a few colors (white blue brown I think)..
I have no idea on what the sale price is tho..

Checked the prices in Jungceylon with prices in Belgium, and they were not more expensive.
Nano 1GB 3350 Baht, 2GB 5990, 4GB 79908GB 9890.
Compare those prices with what you pay in your country and I guess you will have an idea of prices for other iPods.

I explicitely mentionned they were nano types. But if you compare, as I also mentionned, the prices of a nano in Jungceylon to the price for the same nano at your home, you can make an educated guess what the price fot another iPod will be.
