Blackthorn cans and strongbow bottles readily available via wholesale or some stores and bars..
Quite like ice cold blackthorn in the daytime..

It just so happens that John who supplied Tetley beer is about to start delivering Draught cans of Stella Artois,John Smiths,Newcastle Brown and Magus Cider in cans.
 He has a bunch of bars that have asked to stock it.

I like blackthorn in the day and a 440 nl can at 150 baht (price on Nanai Rd) is not too harsh v 25cl bottles..
Though if only volume could improve or taxes lower to get guiness cans down to a reasonable price I would be happy..

thanks everone for your answers. i've never been to phuket and just try to get some idea about prices. i'm living in the canary islands right now, but the prices round here or slowly, but steady going up the roof. may i try another question? how much would i have to pay for a local beer in a bar in patong?

60 - 80 baht per bottle of normal beers (hieneken, tiger, singha, lao, etc).
