In Karon there is a good dentist right by the Central (formerly known as Islandia) Hotel, directly opposite O'Tool's Irish Pub. Tell any tuktuk driver "Islandia" and they will get you there.

West end of Sainamyen Road, 58metres up from the lights, on the left, next to the KingKao Pharmacy, been going there for years

There is a very good Dentist in Patong, I don't remember his name but you will find his clinic on the left side of Rat-U-Thit road just after the traffic light by Sawatdirak road coming from Bangla side.
There is a tailor shop on the corner and just after there is a sign for the Dentist.
