well guys here i am sitting here listening to my house windows nearly blowing in with the wind gusts and now i am 3 sheets to the wind (pissed) i thought it was time for me to inflict another of my famous and much vaunted poems on you guys as i know how much you love them i have now had to stop drinking because some evil bas tard has rostered me for dayshift tomorrow day staring at 7.30 am so have to give myself 14 hours to sober up before i drive to work.

anyway a very happy new year to you all and a lucky and prosperous 2007

THE WIND IS BLOWING HARD OUTSIDE
IN FACT THE WEATHER IS TOTAL SHITE !
BUT AS IF THINGS COULD NOT GET SO BAD
MY LAST ALCHOHOLIC DRINK I HAVE JUST HAD

SOME TOTAL UTTER WANKER
HAS PUT ME ON TOMORROWS DAYSHIFT ROSTER
SO NOW TO BED I MUST NOW GO
BECAUSE IN THE MORNING I MUST UP AND GO

BUT JUST WHEN THINGS SEEM TO BAD
AND THINKING OF ALL THE PARTIES TONIGHT MAKE ME SAD
I DRIFT MY MIND TO MARCH 23
WHEN I WILL BE DRINKING AT THE MTB

Just saw on the news that a lot of events have been cancelled in Edinburgh. I was there on Thursday and they were gearing up for a pretty spectacular weekend. Looks like your best off staying at home anyway TM

Yeah, they forecast gales for us in NW scotland but it was only a wee bit windy for a couple of hours with some rain.

Think the forecasters panicked again in case they got it wrong!

I was about to say TB that was the worst poem I've ever read, then I saw the time, remembered the day and the fact your a sweaty, had a real good laugh and would like to congratulate you on the poem especially as obviously written after a few drams have passed your way.
