If you go all the way to the south tip of Phuket, I think it's called Cape Promthep you will see some very beautiful sunsets.

I realise probably reasonable questions to ask, but I guess its the wording of them. In my mind, probably the funniest post of the year so far.

Over any given 24-hour period it appears to be an on and off thing.

Thanks .. I just happen to have received my tickets for Jan the 26th and they've put a brochure in it where I read it. But it's quite logical since it is the high season now

I assumed Summer as in dry season with more hours of sunshine and less rain

I think you will enjoy the weather it's high season and perfect weather, perhaps a rain shower now and then, but they don't last long.

I don't mind if its raining at all... I was there in July with lots of showers but didn't care because I would chill out at Cashewnut all day anyway

Not in my brochure... I admit that in March-May it is a little hotter, but there is also less hours of sunshine per day and much more chance of rain. But then again...who cares? The weather is always nice in LOS when you come from Holland

It says that in Dec and Jan the average temperature is 29 degrees, which is the same as the period from June-Nov. The only months hotter on average are Feb-May.
