Which username did you try to log on with?

As you can see, you have logged in as "jenkins" and this is the only username you can use.

Andy50 is history as a username now.

Further to my above post, I can see you have signed in as Andy50 as well.

Forget it, as Andy50 has been banned and you cannot view anything with that username again.

i dont fancy starting all over again roger! , all those inain questions arggggh!
ill stick to pattaya forums for the time being
patts was my first experience (10 trips till 2000), even ij has adjusted his behaviour and found patts a more lively place having said that plans change!!

I do not get this, he was banned under his previous user name but allowed back under a new one?? does this mean we can all do as we wish get banned and then just sign on with another name? Surely you are either banned or not, signing in under a different name gets more confusing.

Making no judgement on Andy50 or the circumstances surrounding his life ban but cannot make sense of this decision, accept its not my place to make sense of it but just wondered the reasoning behind it.

I believe in second chances depending on the situation. Looks liked Andy resents losing his post count and having to start over. I'm proud of mine too. I just e-mailed my mum and let her know that I am a bronze monger!
They were probably just hoping he would change whatever it is they thought he was doing wrong.

That was my decision Dodger, whether it was right or wrong, I can't say.
It wasn't really any different to Richie/Dude/Jazz/Travelgirl/Echo. All the same person, banned but allowed to start again with a new username.

Andy, or "jenkins", signed up on 26/12 and it was noticed straight away who he was, but do we just ban anyone again knowing the past history?
In Andys case, he has an alcohol problem and I was prepared to give him a second chance, so blame me if you don't like it.

If the IP is banned, then the poster has a problem, but in Andys case his IP is in the same block as mine. So ban his IP and I'm blocked

Dawsey must feel like he is under siege sometimes, but I think it a fair question because I asked it as well.

Dawsey told it to me the same as he explained in this post. You really can't stop people from signing up with a different name, so when they do you have to make a decision about whether to allow them to post or not.

It seems to me that Andy has had 'all priveleges' removed and is having to start again if he wants to use the forum. In that sense Andy50 is history.

I fully respect Dawsey's position on this.
