You cant own land.. You can lease for 30 years..

You can own the building on top of the land.. And you can own a condo in certain developments.

Thats the 2 line answer for a complex question.

You can get a lease for your life time too, it is called Usafract ' might be spelt a bit wrong sorry. It costs 75 bt so a bit cheaper than having a lease drawn up. You have to do it when your Thai entity buys the land, there are other restictions up to 1 rai I think and not at every land registry office.

Ok.. I always thought the 30 was the max and ufrastruct gave you more rights over the land but still limited..

Wonder why its not used more..
