Hotel Prices in April
To steve or other members.
The flights booked now it's the hotel to book. Steve what price are you getting at the C & N for your trip in april. I've e mailed the lamai inn but have had no reply yet, maybe i went to cheap with the price to get the room. or has anyone got any prices of hotels they are staying at. I'm sure a few more people would be interested also.

I'm going in late March and they started the bidding at 900. I offered 700 if i stay for the whole 8 days but haven't heard back yet. The first response took 4 days so be patient. But you get a free ride from the airport so even if i have to pay 900 i'll still be happy.Robio

but on my last trip, I just showed up, and then bargained. Have you thought of that? Being your first trip, you may not fancy that method, but you'd be surpised what some of these hotels might charge if you bargain (in-person) and plan to stay x-number of nights...
Again, just a thought. C & N sounds terrific, although I've no first-hand experience with them.

thanks for quick reply. i think i'll email them for the same price 750baht and see what happens. i tried the lamai inn for 700 baht but no reply yet. what ever one comes back first with the right price i'm staying there. i do like the lamai inn, but you have to get a tuk tuk at end night saves walking but the 7-11 is next door so getting the late night suuplies.

c&n quoted 800bht a night, but all being well i have rented a house for myself, little bit more but i think it will be well worth it.
