The only guy on the board who never visited MTB?

I must admit I have called in once bought, a beer sat by myself, smiled at the girls, no reaction, finished my beer and left. Little disappointed. Sure I am a 50 yo aussie but not as rough as most of the guys I'v seen on this forum. Maybe I'm just getting less and less attractive. But will try again at Easter. Flying up from Perth with Tiger who have just announced they are to start flying domestic in Australia around the end of the year

It depends on what time you go , if it is early (before 22.00-22.30) then there are probably not many BM's around. Best bet is to ask if Nicke is there , if he is , introduce yourself , if he's not then Ead (his bride to be !!!) will know when/if he will be arriving.

Have been to Patong and Soi Eric countless times but have never been to MTB. Wanted to say hello but when i walked by there was no suitable vantage point so i kept walking. Maybe i should go in the depths of low season. Never met Nicke either but as he said if you don't specifically want to speak to BMs there isn't much difference between the bars.

Ive never been and i have been to phuket 4 times in the space of months , i sat across from it once but never had a drink there , next tme im in phuket i will be saying hello to the boss and comend him on a great forum

i reckon without the board i would not have visited so many times over the last couple of years, would have saved me a bloody fortune aswell, i really have met a lot of people i would consider good friends and always look forward to meeting up with them again.

must be a Scottish thing as I prefer the afternoon sesh followed straight on to the night time sesh.
Was home last time there and was pissed at 11pm after starting at the golf 7am tee off, so told the wife I was going for a sleep in the back of the car...woke up 1 hour later covered in mozzy bites, she had left the window open so as I could have oxygen...grrrrr !!! does she think when you close all the windows it becomes a vacuum ?

Aussie45, interesting to read your post. The politics of interacting with the girls from MTB (and vice versa) is a little different to those in any other bar in Phuket, by virtue of this forum existing. That's my opinion.

I've been a few times and still haven't properly worked it out. There was a thread here last year - I think it was called 'Do you BF girls from MTB' - which was very interesting reading. Maybe someone can locate it.
