Glad you brought this up. I would like to know if she is back in business (or about to be). I am working on a posible visit in June and would want to go visit her for a massage. If she is not ... is she doing OK? Does she need more help? By association through the news and this board she has (sort of) become a friend of ours. I am sure there are several that would like to know or even help more if necessary.

It was about 4 months ago when I saw this happen. A few nightmares about this since then. Yesterday, I returned there and wanted to ask if anyone knew what happened. I thought about asking at the beach restaurant. I was talking to one of the owners after it immediately happened but I didn't know which one. I walked over to the dolphin statues and was just standing there when an older guy asked me if I wanted a beach chair.

I said, I was here before and a woman got burned by a man. Do you know what happened to her? The massage lady that was sitting there said, that is my daughter. It was exactly the spot where it all happened.

She said her daughter was there yesterday for two hours for the first time. She had to leave because the sun hurt her sensitive healing skin. She has some scarring on her arms and cheeks. Her mother's english was difficult for me but, she said the skin is white in the healed areas. I asked her if people had given her money to help her daughter out. She didn't understand what I was asking, so I dropped it. She said her daughter is doing much better and it sounds like a return to work is in the near future. I told the mother to tell I was asking about her.

Thanks for the update. Seems that she is making a good recovery. She must have recieved better care than normal afterall. Good to read.
