Cool Another airline question

I would like to know what are all the domestic carriers that run from bangkok to phuket. And also what rates some people are getting and where they are getting them from ie: web site travel agent at home etc. The last three years mine has always been a package this year going it alone and trying to orgaines so everything meets up and doesnt end up costing me twice as much as normal.

Thanks all.

From the internet

There are a few carriers operating BKK-HKT, and others starting soon:-
Air Asia 2 flights per day 1200Baht return http://www.airasia.com/
Thai Air 7 flights per day 4900Baht return http://www.thaiairways.com/
Nok Air Starts 2nd quarter 2004 http://www.nokair.com
Bankok Air 5 flights per day 5200Bt return http://www.bangkokair.com/
Phuket Air 1 flight per day 5200Baht return http://www.phuketairlines.com/
Air Andaman coming soon!!!!!!!!!! http://www.airandaman.com/

I normally book through Opodo, and it normally gives me Thai Air, but this time when I did Phuket and Koh Samui I flew Bankok Air and enjoyed it, for your extra Baht you get a dedicated departure lounge with free soft drinks, snacks and internet access.

i always buy my ticket when i land at bangkok.i try getting the next flight out after i have landed,i usually have about 90 minutes to get my luggage get to the domestic terminal and buy my ticket.but the good thing is(knowing from experience as i work in the airline industry),if you leave it til the last minute, you go up and ask if there are any seats available on the next flight,if they say no,you wait anyway, but if they say yes then buy a standby ticket on that flight.with 90 minutes left they aint gonna sell many more tickets, you get your ticket about 3000 baht cheaper(thai airways) and still get on the flight.i have done this now on 6 occasions(there and back) and only not got on 1 flight once,so i stayed in bangkok dfor the night.it saves a lot of money and isnt really inconvenient.also with a standby you sometimes get upgraded to business if there is no seats available in economy.
