I was thinking of buying a television as a birthday present for a friend in Phuket. Just a smallish one around 30-35cm

Does anyone have a rough idea how much they are up there and where to get one from? Any advice is appreciated.

Makro has some very good deals - seen 20" for under 3000 Baht.

Also good prices at BigC and Lotus and come with warrenty (1 year).

I like the guys at power buy at Central. Really helpful and they know there stuff. The put up with me while I was testing a bunch of different HDTV sets and sound systems. They also have some smaller sets as well.

Fatboy TV's from 3k to flat screen from 9k but if you happen to want a good Flatscreen TV with HD and all the latest bestest gadgets, original receipts and guarantees, brand spanking new, never to be repeated deal........................I have two I do not want one is 20inch one is 23 inch - yours once in a lifetime deal, give me a pm if you are interested.

Saw today.. 32 inch brand name LCD for 27k..

Every time I look they are cheaper..
