Hi there . . .
My first trip to LOS was in 1988. . . Just separated from my wife of 13 years, I recall seeing something about Thailand on TV around this time, and that spurred me into life.
Arrived in Bangkok, did the usual sightseeing thing for a few days with a fellow NZer I met on the plane. He then departed for Phuket, and I was approached by a Thai man and lady, in a Bar at the Indra Regent Hotel, shere I was staying. Both wearing rather smart business suit type attire. . . Both had ID Cards with their pictures on and claimed they worked in 'Thai Tourism'.
They had a car outside and offered to take me to a place where I might like to partake in some female company. I might have been a bit green back then, but I casually told them that I would be leaving my money behind in my safe at Reception . . . that was fine with them, and they would bring me back to the Hotel whether I saw something I liked, or not.
I ended up in rather a flash multi-story building. Ground floor was rather plush with two large windowed rooms on either side of a lounge area. Complimentary drinks were served and I was invited to view what seemed like around 100 ladies divided between the two rooms.
All were dressed in the same silky, thai style dresses, and each with large numbered badge on their chests. After some deliberation, I selected two ladies, one from each room and negotiated to take them both with me for a week in Pattaya.
Total Cost??? . . . US 240.00 = 7 days.
Had a great time, I was like a Pig in Sh*t!!
Big gap between trips followed, because of a second attempt at matrimony.
Returned to Thailand in 1999, travelled North to Chaing Mai, Chaing Rei etc and then spent a month in Koh Samui. Loved it!!!
Since then I have been back each year since, and will return next month for 3 weeks.
Cheers
Pdm3 :p :p :p :p

A friend..
of mine use to go to Bali all the time and talked me into going once Then he goes to LOS for the first time and raves about it for three weeks straight he just would'nt shut up about how much better it was than Bali. So next holidays I came to LOS and have now been 8 or 9 times in just over 3 years and I'm going back soon. As for best part I would have to say Patong as I'm a lazy bastard and have'nt gone anywhere else yet.

It was in the year 1986. I made a journey around the whole world and came also to Bangkok.
The asiatic kind pleased me so well that I prefer vacation in the asiatic area.
In the year 1988 I made then a 6 weeks tour through the whole Thailand where I landed at least in Phuket.
Afterwards I was each year for minimum of 3 weeks in Thailand.
For “relaxing” I was still the first 5 years in Pattaya, the last 10 years then in Phuket.
To second question:
I do not have a favourite place in Thailand however best pleased me the north of Thailand and for relaxing Phuket

1.My first visit was end may 2002 - june 2002, during the world cup in Japan. Me and my friends made a tour, at first me and my friends wanted to go to Kenia on a safari. But this was rather expensive. So then we decided to go to Thailand.
Went back 3 more times between june 2002 and june 2003. So I think I'm pretty much crazy of Thailand and the relaxed allways laughing atmosphere of Thai people.
2. Favourite town I ever visited in LOS is Mae Hong Son (middle of nowhere in the north west of Thailand). But in fact I like whole Thailand and especially Phuket to relax and go out.

Hmmmm not sure about dates think it was 2000 or 2001 ,who cares .
much the same as every one else . My mate went out to Thailand with his now ex missus came back and just looked at me with a grin like i had never seen before.
A little later on me and my missus split he went through a rocky stage with his missus and they split up and the rest is shall i say history, this next tour will be my ninth i think .
The is not one part of Thailand i love the most ,because the is just so much to do see and sample .To me north and south are different, the north is like a good british summers day ,while the south is the tropical paradise.
have done Bangkok , Phuket ,Phi Phi, Chang Mai and Krabi (well part of it ) and the river kwai (khoncharbi yes its spelt wrong i know).
Might make this the last tour for a year or so and see the some more of the world , who knows.

What World ???
Hi there . . .
I agree with you Schmeen. I have now travelled and stayed in over 35 countries. . . My preference without hesitation is Thailand.
Two extensive trips to Europe. Nearly all the Pacific Islands, much of the west coast of America, North Africa, and many countries in SE Asia, and all the peripheral cities around Australia, except Darwin.
After all these places, I can confidently say that I always feel much more relaxed whilst in Thailand.
Cheers

Better Late Then Never
First time to Thailand was in 1996. I was working in Singapore at the time and had my then girlfriend visit and we decided to go for a long weekend to Samui. Very underdeveloped at the time but beautifully so. I was so green I didn't even pick up on the P4P business. The few small bars did have alot of girls around but I assumed they were friends of the girls working behing the bar and were just hanging out. I found the offer of one of them to come back to our soom for a threesome amusing.
Up unitil 2003 Thailand was all but a distant memory. Until one of the guys working with me said I should take some stress leave and join him in Thailand. Always carrying on about the girls and ladyboys and a whole lot of information which I really took no notice of. The trip was booked and then became the last thing on my mind until we met at the airport.
First went to Phuket. WOW. All the tales my friend was telling me during work started to gel. I loved the place from the word 'go'. Everything was an adventure as you would expect.
Next went to Samui. I found it alittle too quite for my liking and thought if I'd come again I would prefer a longer stay in Phuket.
Finished off in Bangkok. That place was the icing on the cake. Organised chaos. I didn't matter how many stories I heard about the hands free bars, when I first walked in I had to take two steps back. Some of those go go bars were also abit hard to handle. We literally got swamped as soon as we entered.
The whole experience blew me away. My head was rattled so much that two weeks after returning home I was back for another dose.
Followed with a return trip during Christmas and will be back again in five weeks time.
I find Phuket to be the best place for the long term, but would definately require a bangkok shooter before closing.

Los
The reasons i decided to travel to LOS goes back a long way , in my younger days , had the usual life , good mates , girlfriends here in the UK , good social life and so on ... after a while i got fed up with relationships with british women , the usual arguments / nagging ..etc .. .after that used to chill with my mates but after years of doing this found the same routine of getting pissed in the same pubs and clubs very boring , as i got older found that many mates moved on , settled down , kids...the usual thing but i stayed on the shelf so to speak. i have always been interested in travel and only went abroad for the 1st time to Ibiza when i was 17 , after that went to amsterdam a few times with mates to get pissed and stoned but found it was a struggle to persuade my mates to travel as most of them were the type that couldnt be ****d doing anything different , became a recluse for quite a long while , just living a hum-drum life ...going to work then chilling at home with no social life , then discovered the internet years later and met a young lady from Romania in a chat room , got on with her well and as i have always liked ''off the wall'' destinations rather than package holidays (mainly because of a travel program call Lonely Planet ...which is now called Globe Trekker on Discovery channel) , I decided to go and meet this chick and go by myself to a small town near the border with Russia called Bacau to meet her , when i arrived i admit i was a little scared in Buchurest on my own , but managed to negotiate a train to Bacau using the phrase book i had bought, met the girl , had good sex and the rest is history , this experience was the catalyst for my LOS adventures , it gave me the confidence to travel the world by myself and not worry about it , after all my old mates are probably still going to ''magaluf and lanzarote'' with their wives/girlfriends which to me is not interesting enough. I knew a student guy years ago who told me about his trip to thailand , as a backpacker (not for sex) and he made it sound very interesting , also i knew from TV reports about the famous sex industry and though to myself if i go there at least im guaranteed a lay rather than relying on ''chatting birds up'' Bear in mind this was my first beach holiday out of the UK since Ibiza at 17 years old , i was totally blown away by Bangkok and then Phuket , to me patong was paradise compared to anything i had seen before , the travel agent i used was the same as when i went to Romania and they were a small family business and were very helpful both times , when i said i wanted to see Thailand they told me about all the travels they had done themsleves all over the world (the husband had been on holiday and business just about anywhere you can think of) and they told me that Thailand was always there 1st choice above anywhere in the world , which to me was sounding like the best recommendation you could ever get. I was sols there and then and have never looked back since , people often ask me why i dont try places like barbados and the like , but i tell them i found a place thats now in my heart but i dont think they understand me . I love everthing about LOS , best holiday atmosphere , not much trouble (unlike the pissheads in spain ...usually from my country im ashamed to say) the most welcoming of people (the thais's) the nicest food i ever eaten and the calmest and most relaxing time ive ever had, ill never look back now.
As for favourite places , have to agree the country itself is hust a joy to visit , i havent been to Krabi or Ko Samui yet but i like Phuket so much i dont really mind either way , i have stayed in a village too north of Khon Kaen situated between 2 provinces (Nongbualumpo and Udon Thani) and had a wonderful real life eperince instead of the tourist stuff .....
For me Thailand is for life not just for christmas

Did my firt of 6 tours in -97, becomming a little boring going to Thailand every vacation (patong was nicer then I think, now it is so much hazzle about EVERYTHING, especially the tailors!), will try Venezuela in april for 1 month och Kenya 2 weeks in June , but will return to Thailand in a april 05 hopefully!
My favorite places in Thailand is Krabi (Railey) or Koh Chang, Patong is fun for a couple of days only...........

First time thailand about ten years ago. Finished school and started to work with the money i made i wanted to travel. So i got some brochures and startes the selecting proces. It was either Mexico India or Thailand cause I wanted to see a totaly different culture and far away from europe. I decided to take thailand cause I had heard alot of it (sextourism). Seeing another culture and some fun at night was good enough for me then. The other countries I wanted to see well I stuck to LOS.
Favourite places Bangkok for the chaos love it or leave it. Phuket for the sun sea beach. Just doing nothing and relax. But the best place i experienced was in the north. The jungle the mountains and al so quiet overthere.

How it all began......
Hi Jonny!
Hope you, Brian and Tommy are OK. Tell the lads I said hello.
Here we go. I will answer the two questions you asked.
1. How did I find out about LOS -
My very good friend who now lives in Thailand told me about it when I met him about 4 years ago. I needed work, and he needed workers. Me and him hit it off great, and we ended up becoming business partners and working together closely for the last 4 years. I remember the first day I ever met him. It was a freezing cold, rainy, dull day in the North East of England. The chain of events from there has been unbelievable.....
My friend had already been to Thailand about 6 times and we decided to go together, which was good because he taight me 'the ropes' before I even got there.
One thing I was worried about was catching a disease. I thoroughly researched about AIDS, and numerous other STD's and decided before I left that it was just too risky to shag any of the bar girls. I told my friend the very most I would consider doing would be to get a girl to suck me, and that would be with a condom.
About 6 hours after arriving in Pattaya (our first stop), my face was full of hairy muff :p :p :p
It rapidly went further into the depths of depravity one night, when me and my friend where quite drunk in Walking Street and we had a beer at the bottom of Marine Bar (the disco with the escalator). We didnt know at the time, but under Marine Bar was a ladyboy bar. All of a sudden my friend said in his drunken state "I think I will fcuk a man with tits in the ass tonight".
Unfortunately we didnt have enough money between us for him to get a ladyboy. The next day I asked him if he was serious and he said he would probably give it a try.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, it ended up where I was hanging out the back eye of a post op ladyboy called Yor, humping them raw (so much for all that research!). They were fantastic in every way. From then on, I knew that I would be podging more ladyboys in the future.
As I am writing this, I am having a big smile to myself at how much my life has changed in the past few years. I feel and know I have done more things in the past few years than most people do in a lifetime, and im not just talking about the sexual things.
2. What is your favourite part of LOS -
The favourite part for me is when somebody is putting their tongue in 'no-mans land' , just between my asshole and ballbag. It aint on the map, and I dont know what its called, but boy do I love it when somebody visits me there! :p

1. My brother told me how good it was down there, so in April 2000 i followed him and 2 of his friends to LOS.
I had worked without vacaton for 4 years after i splitt up with my ex, and needed a time out badly...
Started with 2 days in Bangkok, then down to Koh Samui-Koh Phangan-Phuket-PhiPhi Island-Krabi-Railay Beach-back to Phuket and then Bangkok for the last 2 days. In all i spend 1 month there.
2. Best part is a tricky one...
Ao Thong Nai Pan Yai, Koh Phangan , is a place i remember. Nothing to do except snorkeling, kanoeing and stay on the beach in daytime. In the nights you had some small pubs along the beach. Not a place to party, more to sit and relax with a beer and talk.
Phi Phi is a must for everyone that hasnt been there. There is a few good places like Reaggie Bar, Carlitos, Tintin Bar where you can hang around in the evenings. More of a place to relax on.Great diving and snorkeling too.
Phra Nang Beach in Railey is also a fantastic place. Dont forget to climb down to the hidden lagoon when you are there.
And of course Patong for the nightlife...
In December i stayed for the first time in Patong. Have only stayed in Karon before. Like the beach there better then Patong.
Going back to LOS in the end of June again, for my 5th trip, but absolutely NOT the last!!
Its not the girls that makes me come back, it is the whole thing with Thailand. The sun, beaches, food, nature, sounds, smell, traffic....
I can go on forever..
