Surat thani, ko pha ngan
Can anyone tell me if they have driven to and how long it would take to drive to surat thani and if it is a drive that would be difficult or easy.cheers.

It would be easy I guess, I have been driving to Ranong and almost all cities in south Thailand. I don't know but I guess it takes about 3 hour to drive to Surat Thani.
I remember a road from Trang to the east side of Thailand and the surroundings were so beautiful, big part of it is national park. I can't describe but I remember it impressed me.

It takes about 3 hours to drive to Suratthani. It's an easy drive and the road is quite good. I use to live there and travelled the road down to Phuket quite a lot. Never really liked the place, it was always dull after living the high life in Phuket. There's about 2 half decent bars there and the band plays the same music every night. A lot of nice "good" girls there though.
