Can anyone advise what the area/beach is called between Kamala and Patong, it may even be called North Patong, I just dont know.
If I recall there are one or two hotels on route which I am considering staying at. Hotel names would be very welcome. Thanks

the north end of Patong is called Kalim Beach. It is a surfing area. 2 hotels there are the Orchid and Malibu. I can highly recommend the Malibu, as i stayed there last year and am returning this year.

Kalim Bay also has Residence Kalimbay, a very nice thai style hotel with 2 bedroom apartments and kitchen. I stayed there 1996 when I first come to Thailand.
