The VISA depends on what embassy you visit, I guess a few tousand baht.

Thai passport cost 1070 baht.

Hi Bangla Surfer

It depend of what country you want to take her to.

For example if you want to take her to the UK, then your chances of her getting a visa are very slim. As of last September the fee for a visitors visa to the UK was 2500 baht.

The process is as follows:

Letter of invitation and sponsor from you
Evidence of financial means if you are sponsoring her financially - e.g. bank statements, payslips
Evidence to support bona fide relationship i.e. e mails, photos, phone bills all to substantiate time known and extent of relationship
Evidence that she will return to Thailand - in essence this means does she have assets and responsbilities in Thialand which will convince UK immigration that she is visitor - e.g. evidence of land and house ownership, business ownership, well paid respectable job(in their eyes), financial means, bank statements & payslips

Under no circumstance can you say she work in the bar

if you cannot produce these then its a no go - believe me!!!! If you can then I reckon you will still have to try 2-3 times to get success!!!

If you can then you can put your application in to UK embassy with all the evidence and your fee.
Your girlfriend will have to attend an interview in person in Bangkok, this means paying return flight from Phuket (budget 6000 baht), hotel accommodation and living for 2-3 days (budget 6000 baht) remember Bangkok she will want to go shopping bla bla bla....

So total cost to you about 15,000 baht to be safe and then add on another 5,000 for good measure as there are more gold shops in Bangkok

Other Euro countries are not as stringent e.g. Belgium, Switzerland. Sweden - come to mind

Hope this helps

I have heard US, Canada and UK is one of the most difficult countries to get a visa for, I guess it also depends on short term tourist visa or for longer stay.

Sweden among others is very easy while Germany is slighly more difficult these days compared to the past.

I have girls from MTB currently living in Sweden, Italy, France, UK, US (took 2 years to prepare everything), Germany, Holland, Belgium and Switzerland, as I am aware of. Many girls tried to get a visa for UK but were declined. Also one girl were declined for Holland, but I think the reason was he couldnt show proof of income.

Hi Tomyam

In a word yes!

look at my post - you will have to do all of this - even for a short holiday.

UK government are bastards!!! They basically dont believe anyone Thai just wants to come for a holiday

But they will let in illegal immigrants by the f...ck...g barrell load and even have a secret policy to let in eastern european's as long as they can work in areas of skill shortage

regards Geespot

Paid extended holidays in the U.K.

Get your g/f to anywhere in Europe, whichever is easiest.
Tell her to stowaway on the back of a truck to UK.
Before entering UK. throw away passport.
On arrival in UK.claim asylum.
Not only will you be allowed to stay for a couple of years until your case has been assessed and you have appealed etc. but the British taxpayer will give you a fair amount to live on every month, ( if she is careful she could use half of it to keep family back home ) , accommodation, English lessons & will even pay your legal fees for appeals.

Just being cynical.

Short Stay Is Sometimes Too Long

And never forget that in all countries they want to be sure she comes back after hert stay, so if you ask 3 months, they tell you that nobody can take 3 months holydays, so she need to have a lot af money (around 150.000 - 200.000 baths minimum) and a papare from an employer attesting she has a good job when she's back !
Really not so easy.

Is someone here already make a Thai girl come in his country ? And if yes, how long and whate were difficulties with officials (interview, questions they asks) added to all the papers we and she need to fill ?

Domi
