Happy St George's Day
Happy St George's Day to all our English BMs
It's is a pity that the English don't celebrate like the Irish in St Pats.
Also on 23rd April 1918 the Raid on Zeebrugge when the British Navy landed a large Marine attack force to seize the seaport.

Hope anyone celebrating has a good day!
St. George and St. Patrick had something in common... One vanquished the Dragon the other banished Snakes from Ireland... I don't believe a word of it myself, but there you go!

Was there yesterday. Every year the same. Those old guys staying 2 days in Zeebrugge, commemorating St Georges day and the assault under Admiral Keyes (still a Admiral Keyes Square" and 2 monuments here.
Those guys can drink a lot.

Most of the veterans must be a fair age now.I was part of the honour guard company that went there in 1978 for their 60th Anniversary. They were a good bunch and great hosts.
