how much would you spend in a month

i am interested to hear how much money people would spend in a month in patong doing the sex tourist tour pretty much every night?i ask as i am about to embark on such a journey and altho i have been 3 times before i have never been for this amount of time and unfortunately am gonna have to stick to a budget of around 2000 uk pounds.would people think that is adequate or would much more be needed by some of you.i am more worried about having to spend a few nights "in" .i hoped to have more for this trip but alas bills and other bits and bobs particularly my car going tits up recently means i have had to dip into the pot i had.i worked out roughly 2000 equals about 5500 baht a day and i gotta pay 750 baht a day accomodation in that.

I've always worked on about 5000B a day
1000B for hotel
1000B for a shag
1000B for Food (usually reduce this one so i can increase the next one )
1000B for Beer
1000B for miscellaneous (massage, fishing, phone, golf, trips to bangers, vehicle)

If one category doesnt cover something I either do without for the day or take it off another category

Mind you, my full on *****mongering days were about 6 years ago. I now get by on just 150000Baht each month

I reckon on a rough guide of £100 per day. Some days your over some under, although I am never sure what I spend - too scared to look - so about £2800

Usually go with about £800 cash then it's atm all the way and sometimes my thai gf pays, i.e. i dont get a bar bill at end of night (my own bar believe it or not) & she usually goes and settles tabs in another few where I frequent

last tour was £800 + atm easy always always budget for more but then i dont boom every night ,especially if xmas was anything to go by , was far to rat a rsed. plus most time spent in los at one go 3 weeks then move on to some where else

Last time I was in Phuket for a month, I spent about 245,000 baht for everything. I wasn't trying to stay on a budget, that's just what I ended up spending.

When I go to LOS, I dont want to be thinking of money all the time. You have to make your mind up before you go, how you are going to play it.

If you want to be a rock star, budget for about £3000 spendies for the month (not including airfare, but i know you get yours cheap!). You might try and limit yourself, but you will have some big benders etc.

Best bet if you want to stick to budget, is to plan one week travelling, maybe after songkran when you are sick of drink and most people have fcuked off. Your spending will rapidly go down for that week, leaving you more party money later.
Also, you shouldl be able to get a god deal on accomodation for one month. Have you thought about an apartment?

Anyway, have fun you lucky b'stard. :p Worry about the cost later. You never know when it might be your last, so live a little.

If I take inot account my last trips to Phuket, I used to spend an average 3000 Baht per day. That doesn't include the air fare, the hotel and most of dinners and lunch (paid by CC). This 3000 B are used for Car, Jetski (I love this sport) and party at night.

I average aroung 5000baht a day not including flight and accomodation, but who's counting???

Granted I have been paying higher than the usual 1000 LT 500 ST that more experienced guys pay. Usually 1500LT 1000ST, but I'm getting better. I also don't mind springing for drinks with friends.

Bkk can also put a hole in your pocket compared to Phk.

my last tour of duty lasted just short of 5 half months and i managed to spend just under 6 grand but if you are there for 1 month i think 2000 will be ok that's excluding the hotel

in my 3 previous trips i have had to have money transferred.
anyway i got 2k thats it.so it works out at 5500 baht a day,but i plan on spending about 4-5 days on phi phi so i no i will save money there as i found it dirt cheap there last time.due having to buy a new motor i have had to cancel going onto pattaya for 10 days after,but oh well patong has to put up with me for a month.
and if it comes to it get more money wired over from the parents

I spent roughly 7,000 baht a day this trip but I was cutting loose because of my recent divorce woes and not bargain hunting - Agogo and BG's(Good looking ones) are more pricey...
