The best way to to deal with not having this problem ....Is simply don't have sex....With me something always happens...The contraceptive breaks or for some reason I don't put one on.......I have friends who just bang the same women all the time....for some reason they might think she is messing around on them... So they end up taking the test as often as I do.... there is no absolutes .....she might be messing around ......what is left is spanking that old monkey all the time... that is not the answer for me...
I guess what I am trying to say is... I am just not blaming the B.G.s
What I want to know is am I a pussy ....While waiting for that HIV Antibody Test Window....for three months... to see if I am positive..... That waiting time worries the shxx out of me....I am curious to hear how other guys deal with that three months.After they come back from LOS.. Or do most guys just bury there head in the sand.....and pretend there is no problem......

The problem with the way you look at it ......Is if your positive you can pass it on to someone else...also the idea for finding out about it is if your HIV postive....you can
take medication...to prevent it for a long time before it turns into Aids.....because that is one horrible fxxxxxx way to die man.......

But if one day you have HIV and so one day obviously you will have AIDS, and youl'll die and you'll can kill other peolpe because you have it, how do you feel ? I'm scared for myself because i made it w/out condom 2 months ago and I have to wait one more month before to know ...
I really don't think it can happen but who knows ... except the test ...

I don't like thinking about it until I am about to have the test as if you keep thinking about it it will really screw you up...

Like Geespot who lives in Patong - I lived in Botswana (40% positive) for 2 and a half years and was ****ing around with and without a rubber... The thought of HIV/AIDS was always in my head so I have learnt to switch that button off...

On the question of passing it to someone else - I always wear a rubber and they know the risks involved as much as I do - It goes both ways the responsibility of decisions made...

I am not trying to bury my head or anything, not the point I was trying to make, everything you guys say has value. Im just saying that some of the posts become way too morbid, everyone should know the risks etc. me personally I have one GF (has had 3 tests since I have been with her) only, do not butterfly and I am sure there are no away matches getting played by her

Look its one thing if you shag without a rubber and make often a HIV test.
So you can decrease the chance to infect someone else.

If you dont do the test and shag around without it for years there will be one day you get infected. And you will not know it and still shag around without it, then you will infect many innocent girls.
Its logical, for an infection it needs everytime two person who want to shag without it. But you can't say this for LOS, the girls need the money and not every girl can decide if she wants shag with or without it. So you have some kind of responsability...

That basically labels thai women as people who go with us because they are desperate for the cash. The vast majority of Thai women are NOT involved in the sex industry. Many of them do normal jobs such as factory work and shop work etc, and the thought of going with a fat falang like me would horrify them.
There are many reasons why a girl might go into prostitution, and they are no different to the reasons that someone in europe or the USA would go into it.

e.g.

Desperate for cash
Drugs/drink problems
The lure of a 'better' standard of living
They are forced into it

Probably one of the biggest factors is human greed. A lot of these girls come from the poorest parts of Thailand, mainly farmlands where the wages are very low, BUT never the less, people can still feed and clothe themselves etc.
Rather than work doing this kind of job (which I agree is very hard) they see friends they grew up with coming back driving motorbikes/cars, nice clothes, money, jewellry etc. The temptation must be too much.
They DO have a choice, and unfortunately, once they have had a taste of the poisoned apple, it is very difficult for them to go back to earning 150- 100 baht per day when they can make 5 to 10 times that easily in a day drinking and smoking and chatting to friends.

They are just as much responsible for looking after themselves as we are.

Living outside of Patong you realize it's just not beer bars and go go's. And my staff think Patong is just too dirty and don't understand why "khun Robert like Patong" but Robert like Patong very much.
I used to see homeless people all the time in the states but the Thai's have all the basic needs met, the girls are doing it to make 5 to 10 times the normal salary, not just to survive but to thrive.

May the vast majoritiy belong to the greedy ones, but i still think there are always some girls that have no choice. Even bargirls are not an homogenous group

Not unfortunate for me, and it's been called allot of things before, poked at and made fun of. But a poison apple??? That's below the belt.
