Brits get '15-week itch'

RESTLESS Brits cannot go more than 15 weeks without going on holiday, a survey has shown.
Any longer causes irritability, stress and fatigue, said internet tour firm MyTravel.com.

The “15-week itch” coincides with at least two major opportunities to take a break this year.

Easter is exactly 15 weeks after New Year, and another 15 weeks takes us to July 24 — start of the summer holidays for many schools.

MyTravel ****ysed booking patterns of 1,000 people and found two in three go away at least three times a year.

Nearly half feel stress after 15 weeks and nine in ten feel better just for booking a holiday.

MyTravel director Karen Kidd said: “Fifteen weeks is definitely a key period

Once a year is Enough...

I used to go on holiday once a year. That was enough as it cost so much. Then I went to Patong in December, again in March and booked again to LOS in May. I think I'm down to 10 weeks now and falling fast! I have worked out that for the cost of two weeks with my ex wife in Barbados I can go to Thailand for a week every two months! Shame I only get six weeks holiday a year....
