Triumph Daytona 675 ?
looking to replace my Duc, my first thoughts were to go back to a 'Blade.
but I took a Daytona for a test ride up at RCA yesterday.
seemed like a nice bike, but I have to admit I don't know anything about the current generation of Triumphs.
anyone got experience/opinions about quality, maintenance, handling etc ? cheers...

Had triumphs, I had the 600 TT which went through three recalls. but I think since its five years since the fire at the plant and the development money put into the daytona after winning the Manx TT, the Daytona has come a long way.
I found you either love or hate the digital throttle as it rolls on and off.
If you want to replace your duc, look at an Apprillia Mille, it'll give you a huge grin factor!

my mate bought a 675 a few months ago.
he is only a short guy and had a fireblade.
he loves it. nice and light, handles well and crisp on the throttle.

still umming and aahing. The price for the Daytona is B670,000 new, but there is also a 2005 'Blade with less than 3,000kms on the clock for B330,000.
So while my heart is saying, "yeah go on give it a chance, take the Triumph", my wallet is saying "count the satang". **** kmows what my head is saying, it's gone AWOL
