The ladyboy that stayed with me last week, I liked them a lot, for many different reasons.
They were funny, nice to be with, and very honest. Any questions I asked, Jen answered honestly.
Her answers didnt surprise me. The reason why I write this thread is that there arent that many differences between bargirl life and ladyboy life.

I asked Jen why she started. She said for some easy money, but once she had done it, then she was into it. She got 1,000 baht for 15 minutes work (not bad money if you can get it ! ).
"What do you do with the money?" I asked.

"Why dont you do what other Thai people do, and get a normal job?". I told Jen that she had no money now, so what was the difference if she worked in a shop and didnt suck todgers. "At least you wont get HIV and other things".

"I know" she said. " I try it one time, in ice cream shop. I make in 1 month - 5,000 baht. I spend 5,000 baht in one week. I like cosmetics and shoes so I go back to customers."

They have a choice, but once they have had the good life, they like it.

I asked if any of her friends had died from AIDS. Yes, she replied, I lose a lot of friends. Jen then told me that a lot of the HIV infections came from Thai men, and not the tourists, but the tourists were then getting it from ladyboys and bargirls.

I then asked what does the girl do if she has been for a test and has HIV. Jen told me they will say nothing to even their friends. They will work for as long as they can, and then go home to mama to die when they are sick.

How many girls get a test? Not many was the reply. The girls in GoGo bars get it every 2 months and they have to be clean, or if they are HIV+ then they are out straight away.
Where do they go if they are HIV+? They just work in a normal bar, or go freelance

I asked Jen if there was anything she liked when she was with someone, like a massage, or something. She replied "I feel NOTHING when customer is fcuking with me. I close my mind. I dont love him or like him. It is just a job.

Finally I asked Jen if she has ever fallen in love with any men. "No. I like a man from Germany, but he give me some money for operation! "

I dont know about you, but this AIDS mullarky is still bubbling around in the background. What do you think?

I cannot think of one good reason why anyone would risk their life for the sake of a night with a BG/Ladyboy,without using protection.Its just crazy to even contemplate it.
