just a quick few question to the experienced members here........
1. how easy is it to get a sim for a mobile ive heard they were cracking down on them?
2.if you call out from thailand to the uk is 0044 and then drop the first zero of either the mobile number or area code?
3.are mobiles in thailand a cheaper way of phoning home than the ones in internet cafes?
thanks for any or all questions answered feel free to flame as much as you like but im flying out tues 12th this month so will hopefully be having a beer or three at the mtb real soon so answers get beers :0)

Apple,
Can help you part of the way. A SIM card is as easy as going to a 7/11 (most of them). You should gave an unlocked phone to make the SIM card work. If you do not have an unlocked phone, then most phone store can do that for you for a fee.

When dialing international there is a difference between carriers as to the cheapest method. I think it is 007, 008 or 009 then the country code followed by the number you are dialing. If you normally dial 0 first when you are home you generally will omit that 0.
